this is exactly why they call it concrete jungle.

Woman to cashier: Do you have a
bathroom
I could use?

Cashier: No, we don't have public bathrooms here.

Woman: It is harder to pee in New York than to see a gorilla doing the Watusi in Times Square at high noon.

Overheard in Times Square

Disclaimer: Overheard in NY stories posted in this blog are taken from www.overheardinnewyork.com, unless otherwise noted. We only post stories that make us LOL and/or make us say "oh yeah... so true!" and well, just because we think it's cool to share it. Pictures attached are our own.

And oh, we got more fun overheard stories here.

For the love of NYC and eavesdropping,

Yes, so true! When I lived in NYC for a summer, I once walked 15 blocks to use the bathrooms at the Barnes & Noble at Union Square. Every Starbucks on the way had a line 20 people deep.

Love your new blog!

Well i suppose there has to be some sort of perk to living in the suburbs, abundant with malls and public toilets
